The yearbook Análise Advocacia 500 is the largest and most important survey carried out on the Brazilian legal market. In order to identify which are the most admired law firms and lawyers in the country, Análise Editorial carries out a detailed survey annually with those who have the most to say: clients. The general counsel of the 1,500 largest Brazilian companies are consulted by the publication team and vote for the groups and professionals they most admire, regardless of whether they use their services or not.
The result is a unique view of legal services available in Brazil and who, in the opinion of the companies that hire them, are the most qualified to provide them. Currently, the survey is divided into 19 specialties of law where the most admired in each specialty and economic sector can be identified.

The largest and most relevant research carried out on the Brazilian legal market, the publishing house Análise Editorial has released the results for the 2025 Análise Advocacia Regional survey.

Based on the information obtained from the survey carried out during the production of the Análise Advocacia yearbook, the Most Admired offices were divided by the regions where the head office of each is located and organised on the lists by their categories of practice.

And Dannemann Siemsen, for the fifth consecutive time, is the most admired law firm in Rio de Janeiro in the Extensive category in addition to listing 29 professionals featured in the ranking.

Dannemann Siemsen's DS Diversity Program was recognized with the Análise DNA+Fenalaw 2025 Award at the Silver category, presented during Fenalaw 2025, the largest legal event in Latin America.

In its fourth edition, the Análise DNA+Fenalaw Award reinforces the partnership between Análise Editorial and Fenalaw in promoting best practices in corporate law. The magazine Managing Intellectual Property, created in 1990, is a highly prestigious medium that has readers in the areas of Trademarks, Patents and Copyright, among others around the world.]

In 1997, the publication organised the first MIP Global Awards, which awards the firms that most stand out for innovation and combativeness in the area of Intellectual Property. The Dannemann Siemsen firm was among the winners in the first edition and also in later years.

IP Stars, a guide by Managing Intellectual Property, specialises in law firms and IP practitioners around the world and has been researching and ranking companies since 1990.

The survey is conducted rigorously and impartially, and the results are obtained through interviews, e-mails and online surveys.

On 14 November 2019, at the AB InBev headquarters in Brussels, we took part in the “AB InBev IP Award for Best Trademark Service Provider” ceremony.
At the event, Dannemann Siemsen received the “AB InBev IP Awards” prize, given to the best service provider in the area of trademark protection. The firm is responsible for AB InBev’s trademarks all around the world. It is also the only Brazilian representative in the Intellectual Property area responsible for the global account of a multinational company of this size, with more than 15 thousand trademarks under its responsibility.

Benchmark Litigation, a Euromoney award, is a guide for the world’s main law firms and litigation lawyers and is the only publication on the market that focuses exclusively on dispute resolution work.

The publication researches and ranks law firms and lawyers based on consultancy about transactions. Each year, they ask companies to send annual contributions to support their research, which is conducted through extensive interviews with dispute resolution experts and their clients to identify key professionals and firms.

Benchmark Litigation, Latin America edition, released its 2020 ranking for the Arbitration and Dispute Resolution areas in Brazil and Dannemann Siemsen is one of the firms highlighted, having been ranked in the Dispute Resolution area as Recommended.

It is with enormous pride that on 30 March we received the “CESA Seal – Gender Equity”, 2021 edition, which had 114 participating offices. Dannemann Siemsen was recognised in the “ALLY” category.

The CESA seal for Gender Equity is a recognition of companies that have a public commitment to gender equity. This theme must be present in internal commitments, formal goals, an established action plan and/or strategic planning for the firm.

Founded in 1983, CESA - Centro de Estudos das Sociedades de Advogados [Law Firms’ Centre for Studies] is a non-profit civil association made up of Law Firms. Its objectives include promoting studies and expressing opinions on legal issues and matters relating to the administration of justice and the exercise of the legal profession, and to offer Associates studies and services that facilitate the exercise of the legal profession.

Dannemann Siemsen’s head office in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, achieved ISO 14001 certification in November 2022, an international standard that establishes guidelines for environmental management systems (EMS) in companies and organisations. Its purpose is to assist in the management of environmental impacts and promote sustainability in operations. ISO 14001 provides a set of requirements and guidelines for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving an effective EMS.

The implementation of ISO 14001 makes it possible to identify environmental impacts and assists in developing environmental management programmes, monitoring and controlling activities, promoting employee training and carrying out periodic reviews and audits of the environmental management system.

For the third consecutive year, Dannemann Siemsen has been recognised by EcoVadis, one of the leading international platforms for assessing corporate sustainability performance.

In 2025, the firm scored 69 points (out of 100), an improvement over the last assessment, which scored 61 points, and remained in the Bronze category, demonstrating consistent progress in our sustainability practices and policies.

EcoVadis assesses companies in four areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, based on international standards such as the UN Global Compact, ISO 26000, and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines.

In this new edition, Dannemann Siemsen showed improvement in virtually all pillars, reinforcing its commitment to ethical, transparent management aligned with best social and environmental practices.

EcoVadis was founded in 2007 in France and adopts a methodology based on global sustainability standards, covering more than 200 sectors of activity and 175 countries, currently evaluating more than 100,000 companies worldwide.

On 30 July 2024, we were very proud to receive the "Law Firm 4.0" Certification. The award took place during the AB2L Lawtech Experience 2024.
Created in 2022 by the Brazilian Association of Lawtechs and Legaltechs (‘AB2L’), with the support of Análise Editorial, this certification is AB2L's recognition of law firms interested in getting closer to the innovation ecosystem, and is a practical initiative to foster a collaborative, efficient, digital legal market integrated with new technologies.

The IP Eagle Talents Selection and Training Program aims at exploring a new mechanism for the cultivation of high-level, multi-disciplinary and international IP talents.

It is designed to implement the strategic requirements of the development of intellectual property rights (IPR) and the 14th Five-Year Plan of IP Protection and Use, which are: creating a more open, more active and more dynamic environment for the development of IP talents; improving the mechanism for the training, evaluation, motivation and allocation of IP talents; and executing a special IP talent training program.

The candidates of 2024 Outstanding International IP Service Teams are: international IP service teams or institutions with extensive experience serving Chinese clients or/and IP service teams or institutions based in China with exceptional international service capabilities.

Nominations are received through self-nomination and recommendation. The results are decided through comprehensive evaluation by experts.

Renewed commitment to McDia Feliz and the Ronald McDonald House Programme

Dannemann Siemsen is pleased to have participated for 20 years in the McDia Feliz campaign, which supports the Ronald McDonald House Programme in providing shelter for children and adolescents undergoing cancer treatment and their families.

Every year, the firm purchases a significant number of Big Mac vouchers, which are donated to young apprentices, who receive two tickets each: one for their own use and one for a companion.

More than just a social action, this partnership is a source of pride, as it reaffirms our commitment to solidarity and to transforming the reality of so many families who find support and hope at the Ronald McDonald House.
