Prominent in Brazil and around the world in the fight against fraud, counterfeiting and piracy, we have a long history of successful programs to protect brands and fight fraud, which, above all, are enormously successful in complex cases.

Our highly qualified team devises the best strategies for cases with a focus on protecting our clients’ rights and interests. We adopt a predominantly accusatory role, actively taking part in formal investigations and criminal proceedings, but we make exceptions for clients who come to us with demands for strategic and tailor-made defences of their rights in the criminal sphere.

We are trained in business intelligence work and in carrying out private checks to obtain information about individuals, companies and business groups, in order to enable administrative, civil and criminal measures to be filed on behalf of our clients and partners.

In the physical market, we conduct investigations to gather data for specific actions or large operations, on specific targets or in large areas, by carrying out visits, interviews, purchasing products and collecting various types evidence. In the virtual world, we identify targets, list cases of infringement and purchase material, in addition to using the most varied procedures that allow our clients to plan repression strategies in the real world for virtual infringers.

As a preventive measure, we work on drafting opinions on topics related to criminal law, criminal procedural law and intellectual property rights. We also carry out inspection requirements with border surveillance bodies and other law enforcement authorities, with a view to promoting ex officio actions throughout the country.

Finally, together with ANGARDI – the National Association for the Guarantee of Intellectual Rights, we also administer training courses for Public Authorities in the Federal, State and Municipal spheres to increase the quantity and quality of the actions taken by surveillance and repression bodies.
