A lawyer with a strong legal background and experience in intellectual property, he is a partner at the law firm Dannemann Siemsen and serves on its Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Peter has over 30 years of experience in the field, focusing on advisory and litigation work in Intellectual Property in Brazil, as well as on the development and implementation of strategies for protecting Intellectual Property rights abroad.
He has participated in numerous high-profile cases with significant legal and economic impact. He is actively involved in associations related to intellectual property and the legal profession, having served as a member and coordinator of various committees at INTA, AIPPI, ABPI, CESA, OAB RJ, among others.
President of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI) for the 2026–2027 term.
He served as President of Fluminense Football Club for two consecutive terms and was a member of FIFA’s competition committee. He is a speaker at national and international events on intellectual property and legal practice. He is the author of numerous articles and a co-author of leading publications on intellectual property. Visiting professor for graduate courses in legal studies, intellectual property, and management.

He holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, with a specialization in financial management from FGV. In addition to being a lawyer, he has competed in various categories in sailing, having won titles such as South American, Brazilian, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and 7th District champion, among others. He is currently an avid golfer.
