- Creating and implementing a comprehensive anti-ambush marketing program related to the IP assets of the Brazilian National Football Team;
- Representing an asset management company in the first case filed in Brazil discussing whether financial ratings constitute copyrightable subject matter;
- Acting as lead counsel in several trade dress disputes involving the pack of consumer goods, colors, and product configurations;
- Negotiating and doing transactional work related to the acquisition and licensing of some highly valuable intellectual property in Brazil;
- Responsible for a leading case in the area of pharmaceutical trademarks, whereby the Court of Appeals held that the regulatory approval process before Anvisa can be sustained as a valid defense in a cancellation action for non-use of the mark at the BPTO;
- Responsible for one of the first UDRP disputes involving a Brazilian entity decided by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) (D2000-0739, 2000).

He has solid academic background, holding an LLM in Intellectual Property Law by the UNH Franklin Piece School of Law (consistently ranked as a top-5 IP law school in the U.S).
