Biologist with a degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Thaís has a Master's and PhD from the same university's Faculty of Medicine, with extensive knowledge in molecular biology, oncobiology and genetics.
She specialises in patents from the Japanese Patent Office (JPO) and the Asia-Pacific Industrial Property Center (APIC).
She has practice in both the administrative and judicial spheres of patents, acting in the prosecution of patent applications and as a technical assistant in lawsuits, mainly in the areas of biotechnology, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, agricultural products, cosmetics and food.
She is a member of important associations such as ABAPI, ABPI and CRBio-RJ.
