A partner at Dannemann Siemsen, she holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and a master’s degree in communication systems from PUC-Rio. She is also a lawyer with a postgraduate degree in Industrial Property Law. Additionally, she has specialized training in patents from the Japanese Patent Office (JPO) and the Asia-Pacific Industrial Property Center (APIC).
Mariana joined Dannemann Siemsen in 2007 and has since built a career advising national and international clients on patents and industrial designs, particularly in the fields of telecommunications, electronics, software, and medical devices. She also provides technical support in legal proceedings, including disputes involving Standard Essential Patents (SEPs).
In recognition of her expertise, she was named in the Análise Advocacia 500 – Most Admired Lawyer 2016.
She is a member of important associations, such as ABAPI, ABPI, CREA-RJ, FICPI, OAB-RJ, INTA and AIPPI.
