João Alberto Fernandez Alves, Telecommunication Engineer at Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), in 1985, and postgraduate in Business Management at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-EPGE) and Business Development at Fundação Dom Cabral.
He has 31 years of experience in several areas at Embratel-Claro-Net, such as Engineering, Product, Planning, Processes and Operations. He has also experience at several levels of management, including the coordination of working groups in Brazil and abroad.
He chaired the Brazilian Telecommunications Commission (Data Communication), in conjunction with Anatel and Telebrás, representing the Brazilian Communications Ministry in several International Telecommunications Union (ITU-T) standardizations meetings in Geneva, Switzerland.
Coordinated the implementation of large projects at Embratel, such as “Bug of the Millennium” e “Cisco Gold Partner Certification” and “Rio2016 Olympic Project”.
He has been working at the Dannemann Siemsen firm since 2019, where he has acquired Intellectual Property knowledge.
He has expertise in telecommunications, electronics, and other technologies as well, working in the patent litigation and administrative spheres, and industrial designs.
