A degree in Biomedicine, and master's degree and PhD in Cell Biology from Rio de Janeiro Federal University. She was at the Institut Curie, Paris, France, for two years as a postdoctoral fellow in Cell Biology and Oncobiology. She worked as a Temporary Professor at the Department of Oncobiology at Rio de Janeiro Federal University between 2011 and 2013. With specialisation in Cellular and Molecular Biology, Microscopy and Oncobiology, she joined the Dannemann team to act as a technical consultant on patents in the area of biotechnology.
