Eduardo da Gama Camara Junior is a partner at Dannemann Siemsen, with nearly three decades of experience in Intellectual Property law, particularly in patent prosecution, litigation, and strategic counseling involving complex technologies. Since joining the firm in 1995, he has advised domestic and international clients across a wide range of industrial sectors, including mechanical engineering, industrial systems, manufacturing technologies, and innovation-driven businesses.
Holding degrees in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), Eduardo combines technical and legal expertise in handling sophisticated patent matters, including patent drafting and prosecution, validity and infringement analyses, and contentious proceedings. He also assists clients in developing protection and enforcement strategies aligned with business and innovation objectives.
He completed a specialization course in Intellectual Property at the Franklin Pierce Law Center – University of New Hampshire (USA) and holds a postgraduate degree in Civil Procedural Law from PUC-Rio.
Eduardo is co-author of the books Comentários à Lei da Propriedade Industrial (“Comments on the Industrial Property Law”) and Patentes – Proteção na Lei de Propriedade Industrial (“Patents – Protection in the Industrial Property Law”), as well as author of several articles on Intellectual Property law.
His work has been consistently recognized by leading international legal publications, including MIP – IP Stars, IAM Patent 1000, Who’s Who Legal, Análise Advocacia 500, and LACCA.
