Dannemann Siemsen Advogados is the most admired Intellectual Property law firm in Brazil

The Most Admired in Law Yearbook ("Anuário Análise Advocacia - Os Mais Admirados do Direito", in Portuguese) was based on a pioneering research of the most respected Brazilian law firms, conducted by Análise Editorial and the Consultor Jurídico web site. They gathered input from more than 600 companies among the 1000 largest Brazilian, on eleven different law fields of practice. The study also pointed out the most respected professionals in each field.

Dannemann Siemsen Advogados was pointed out as the most admired law firm in the Intellectual Property field, also having some notability in Enviromental Law.

Also in the Intellectual Property field, four partners at the firm were pointed out as the most admired lawyers. A very expressive result as no other firm, in any of the eleven researched practices, had so many nominated professionals for the same practice. The were:

• Luiz Henrique O. do Amaral
• Gustavo de Freitas Morais
• José Eduardo Campos Vieira

The name Dannemann Siemsen is a reference which stands for more than a hundred years of traditional and quality service in the Intellectual Property arena. Its nomination as the most admired Intellectual Property law firm in Brazil was part of the first research on the Brazilian legal market. The Most Admired in Law Yearbook is the first Brazilian counterpart to similar international publications, such as: The American Lawyer; Legal 100 and The Lawyer.

The release of the report, with 38,000 copies in print, was celebrated with an awards night in São Paulo, on September 19. Many representatives of the business, legal and political segments attended the ceremony.
