Important: PCT filings

As informed in our newsletter No. 5 - June 2004, the application of the 30 month time limit for entering the national phase in Brazil under PCT Chapter I was subject to transitional Patent Office rules of questionable validity. Notwithstanding that, any PCT application for which the 30-month time limit expires on or after March 1, 2005 will definitely benefit from the new time limit.
