NOTE
New social project sponsored by Dannemann Siemsen
Our office, in a joint project with Estação
Primeira de Mangueira (a traditional Brazilian samba school), opened
the training facility Centro Profissionalizante Mangueira-Dannemann Siemsen,
located in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
The project's main objective is to graduate the young people from less
fortunate communities such as Mangueira itself in several different trades
and professions. The facility has 12 classrooms and capacity to attend
up to 400 students daily. Many free courses will be offered including
telemarketing, ballet, culinary arts and information technology. The
construction of the facility was sponsored in its entirety by our office.
Peter Dirk Siemsen, our senior partner, was present at the inaugural
event which marked another step in the social projects sponsored by Dannemann,
Siemsen, Bigler & Ipanema Moreira.
